Hi all, let’s make Wednesday the 15th of April an art day to connect community over important topics that a Planetary famous Cindy Sherman is bringing to Podgorica in her art exhibition, I have selected this date right after the frenzy of Easter is over and spring is in full flow to rejoice with us,….Here is a good website about Cindy Sherman body of art to give you a little preview she explores the world through various costumes not only of fashion, that is just a front as it always was but through the prism of a gaze, both male and female gaze as they are formed by society and societal forms, conventions. She insists that her expression is never about her self but about the otherness and so she does brings us to another world that was born from our own. Artistic metamorphosis at its best, I think this is very important exhibition not to miss and Podgorica is truly lucky to be on the map because I am not aware if her work was exhibited anywhere in the region even.
