Organissima Lux - the Cathedral Lightshow
Dear Music and Lightshow amateurs,
I insist you join me for this spectacular and unforgetable concert.
Synopsis:
An illuminated concert will conclude the events marking the 750th anniversary of Lausanne Cathedral in Protected content . Symbolically, these concerts will not end on December 31st but will continue until January 4, Protected content , marking the passage of time for a building that will continue to defy the centuries.
Another "symbol": these concerts will be given on grand organs featuring cutting-edge technology: fiber optics, MIDI interface, etc.:
the instrument, from its conception, was intended to act as an interface between the past and the future.
On a visual level, too, in addition to the laser projections you've already seen with "ORGANISSIMA & LUX, Gothic Nativity" in December Protected content , Nicolas Hesslein is preparing hologram elements. Contemporary technologies will accompany organ works from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
