Meet the chamois - Evening hike in the Vosges
Vosges host chamois around the Honeck mount. They can be seen at day fall playing on the steep slopes.
We will have an easy hike about 8 km long and Protected content high difference. Children above Protected content old should be able to make it. From the path, we will enjoy a fabulous view of the Alsace plain, the Black Forest and even the Alps if the sky is clear.
It is advice to wear good hiking shoes and to bring warm clothes. Vosges are mountains.
If you suffer from vertigo, be aware that some parts are a bit narrow.
Binoculars and/or a good camera can help seeing chamois on the other side of the valley.
I will hike up from the valley during the day to meet the group at 17:00 pm. If you are a good hiker and want to join for this first part (starting at 9:00 am), text me and I'll provide the details.
