Romania is a top-ten global wine producer with a rich, ancient winemaking tradition, particularly known for indigenous grapes like Fetească Neagră (red) and Fetească Regală (white). Key regions include Dealu Mare for reds and Transylvania for crisp whites.

Pairing: Zacuscă: Cream of eggplant, bell pepper, onion, and tomato, served on sourdough toast
White Wine: Premium Fumé – Chardonnay / Sauvignon Blanc / Feteasca Regala
Pairing: Fasole făcăluită: White bean purée with caramelized onions and thyme
Red Wine: Premium – Feteasca Neagra
Pairing: Mititei: Mini spiced pork sausages, cabbage jam, and Dijon mustard
