Dawda Jobarteh has given countless concerts at ALICE, both solo and in various constellations. For this concert, he performs in a new trio formation with two strong musical collaborators: the Norwegian drummer and vocalist Siv Øyunn Kjenstad – a creative multi-artist who played a sold-out concert at ALICE last year – and Nikolaj Svaneborg on synths and keyboards, known from the duo Svaneborg Kardyb. Together, the trio creates a musical universe that embraces both tradition and renewal, pulse, warmth, organic sounds, and shared musicality. We look forward to presenting Dawda Jobarteh feat.
