"Io, Capitano" (2023) - Screening, Testimony & Standing Dinner
Join us for a remarkable event combining cinema, testimony, and reflection on migration and resilience.
The evening features the screening of "Io, Capitano" Protected content , Matteo Garrone's award-winning film that tells the courageous journey of Seydou, a 15-year-old from Senegal. This poignant story reflects the experiences of many asylum seekers supported by the Red Cross.
Following the screening, you'll hear directly from Amara Fofana, whose real-life journey inspired the film, alongside Alessandra Morelli, a global expert on forced migration.
The discussion will be moderated by Enrico Carpani, Communications Lead at CRSS.
