We warmly invite you to join our group visit to the MAKK – Museum für Angewandte Kunst Köln, one of Cologne’s oldest and most inspiring museums. Founded in Protected content , the MAKK offers a rich and diverse exploration of applied arts, craftsmanship, and design across centuries.
During our visit, we will discover outstanding collections ranging from textiles and fashion, furniture, jewelry, ceramics, glass, and metalwork to graphic design, book art, and modern design. The MAKK has played a pioneering role in the field of design, hosting early design exhibitions as far back as the Protected content and building a dedicated design collection long before it became common in museums.
This visit is especially suited for photography and art enthusiasts who enjoy observing details, materials, forms, and visual storytelling. It’s a relaxed opportunity to exchange ideas, find creative inspiration, and experience art and design together in a beautiful museum setting.
Notice: For residents of the city of Cologne, admission to the museum for this event on Cologne Day is free of charge. Please bring your ID card with you.
