Hike in Forested Hills Above Huy
We're going to hike along hills and cliffs, a restored roman bridge and a stepping stone bridge. This 15.8 km hike near Huy starts in the village of Gives. It will mainly be on hiking paths.
Although this is not a difficult route, it is a hike, not a walk. No major elevation expected on this hike, but short parts are rather steep. Good fitness and shoes required. As long as it is not raining a lot, we're going to hike! If it's been raining recently, parts can be muddy, so an extra pair of shoes is required, especially if you are riding in someone else's car.
Gives is approx 83 km from Brussels - an hour's drive. Carpooling encouraged so if you are able to offer a ride, please let others know. There is a large parking area next to theProtected content
Bring water and your picnic lunch for on the way. If we find a watering hole in Huy, we can have a drink there after.
