Sumida Park Sakura Picnic
Let’s celebrate the arrival of spring under the blossoms! We’re heading to Sumida Park for a relaxed afternoon of hanami (flower viewing). With the Tokyo Skytree in the background and hundreds of cherry trees lining the Sumida River, it’s the perfect spot to soak in the season.
What to Bring
To keep things simple and flexible, this will be a "BYO" (Bring Your Own) style event:
Refreshments: Your favorite snacks, bento, or treats.
Drinks: Whatever you’d like to sip on while we enjoy the view. I will bring my own beer.
Comfort: A leisure sheet or picnic blanket to sit on (the ground can be a bit chilly!).
Why Sumida Park?
Aside from the views, the park offers a classic Tokyo experience. We’ll be able to stroll along the water and enjoy the "Sakura Corridor" before settling down to relax.
A Quick Tip for the Group
Since Sumida Park is a popular spot, I’ll try to arrive a bit early to scout a location. I will share my Google coordinate once I find a spot.
